In the production of many molds, guide posts and guide sleeves are often used to cooperate with each other. When installing, pay attention to the clearance between the guide post and the guide sleeve. If the gap is not suitable, it will definitely have a certain impact on the mold production. If the gap between the guide post and the guide sleeve is too large, the expected effect of the mold production may not be achieved. If the gap is too small, it is easy to cause it to wear too fast, which is also not conducive to the production of the mold. So what is the appropriate clearance between the guide post and guide sleeve?
Under normal circumstances, the bending deflection of the guide post varies from 0.2 to 0.25, and the fit clearance between the part and the guide bush is 0.3 to 0.5 due to the variation of the blanking clearance. We can then use it in combination to determine its size. Then, the variations and arrangements of blanking gaps are combined to determine the larger fit gap between them. On this basis, the smaller fitting clearance between them is determined according to the machining tolerance of the guide bush.
The fit between the guide post and bush is closely related to the clearance between them. The desired effect can only be achieved if the fit clearance between them is controlled within an appropriate range. Of course, in order to ensure the performance of the guide post, lubrication care is also required during use.
